Job Description

We are looking for an Asset Management Administrator to join our client's Global Service Desk team in McLean, VA. The individual should be a quick learner who can function in a fast paced and growing environment. The individual will be responsible for fulfilling requests from other team members to reclaim or deploy/provision systems. They will update asset tracking systems throughout the cycle of the asset being received, or deployed, and also evolve practices based on insight gained through auditing to meet compliance requirements. Provision laptops (Mac and PC) following the instructions provided. Clean and validate systems by performance testing before deploying. They will also help generate reports on inventory levels as needed.

* Knowledge of IT asset management best practices
* Experience working with Service-Now, JAMF, Absolute and SAP a plus

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Provision computers with images and instructions provided by GSD/CPE.
* Processes new hardware requests, ensuring deployed solution meets customer needs
* Validate provisioned computers work as expected.
* Prioritize and fulfill computer and accessories requests
* Ship and track provisioned equipment to/from end users.
* Ensures the proper tracking of IT asset inventory levels by conducting audits and physical inventories
* Intake hardware that is returned to the company.
* Ensures proper inventory levels are maintained to meet operational demand
* Fill-in/update and review tracking documents on a daily/weekly basis.
* Check for any damage or failing hardware and document.
* Prepare decommissioned equipment for physical disposal.
* Organize and maintain tech lounge
* Assist Service Desk Escalation team with in-office tasks
