Job Description

Our client is seeking a talented IT Specialist to work in an innovative environment.

Due to federal security contract requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a federal government clearance.

Responsibilities of the IT Specialist:
  • Perform installation and maintenance of IT Systems / client-servers, and support end users as needed
  • Perform installation and maintenance of hardware (wireless hubs, computers, routers/switches, and server/network hardware)
  • Support information engineers and field engineers with troubleshooting, upgrades, and system documentation preparation
Requirements of the IT Specialist:
  • 2 - 4 years related experience in information systems (helpdesk, network or systems administration)
  • Solid knowledge of O365, Remedy ticket systems, IPv6, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, VPNs, or NAT is highly preferred
  • Certification with CompTIA A+, Security+, CompTIA Network+, CCNA, MTA, MCTS, MCSA, or IAT level 2/IAT-ES/TXS/5870 compliant DoD certification
  • High school Diploma/GED and government clearance needed prior to start
