Responsibilities of the IT Support Associate:

  • Troubleshoot computer and software issues in person, via email, or over the phone
  • Perform computer hardware and software installations and upgrades
  • Manage and document client support issues via internal ticketing system
  • Backup and image laptops; provide backup coverage to other members of the IT team

Requirements of the IT Support Associate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Apple and A+ certification required
  • At least 1 year of experience in relevant computer training and/or support
  • Familiarity with Mac OS X, Windows 7, 8, and 10, and some Linux support experience
  • Knowledge of MS OFfice, ESET Antivirus, Outlook, Apple Mail, ServiceNow, and Adobe products
  • Familiarity with disk encryption products
  • Ability to troubleshoot Apple, Dell, Lenovo, HP, iOS, Android, and custom-built devices
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks, SharePoint, and Office 365 a plus
