Are you a highly skilled IT Support Engineer with expertise in IT infrastructure and networking technologies?

Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer:
  • Support ITIL Service activities: incident, problem, and change management
  • Respond to issues that cause service impact; resolve in an efficient and effective manner
  • Work across teams to define requirements for infrastructure to support the systems
  • Communicate professionally and in a timely fashion across all levels of the organization
  • Investigate, evaluate, and recommend products from outside vendors and integrate products
  • Monitor incident tracking system to ensure timely resolution of critical issues
Requirements of the IT Support Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • MCSE, CCNA, RHCE, VCP certifications preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in a IT role
  • At least 1 year of experience working with relational databases (MS SQL Server preferred)
  • At least 1 year of project management experience (Agile/Scrum methodology preferred)
  • Extensive knowledge of key components in storage systems: SAN, NAS, archive systems
  • Experience with routers, switches, and firewall management (Cisco experience preferred)
  • Well versed in infrastructure and networking protocols (TCP, UDP, etc.)
  • Experience with Cisco UCS, HP, Dell, Windows Server, and Linux operating systems
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft and third party administrative tools required
  • Clear and effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
