Job Description

Are you a strong Java API Developer with an interest in joining one a top Charlotte company to support data science projects? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our industry-leading client.

Requirements of the Java API Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related
  • At least 5 years of hands-on Java/J2EE software development experience
  • At least 3 years of experience building Spring Boot web application
  • Proficient in Java best practices, refactoring, and reusability 
  • Ability to work with Core Java, REST APIs, and microservices
  • Familiarity with Apache Solr, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Hibernate, Mybatis, and other frameworks
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology
  • Excellent coding, debugging, and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
