Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a Java Developer with our industry-leading client in Boston.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE.

Responsibilities of the Java Developer:

  • Collaborate on a software development team to produce high quality code
  • Learn and apply new cutting-edge technologies
  • Contribute to a culture focused on continuous improvement  

Requirements of the Java Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and at least 8 years of experience
  • Thorough understanding of software development processes 
  • Extensive experience with Java, Scala, and the Spring framework
  • In-depth knowledge of REST based services design
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL and non-SQL data management technologies
  • Experience working with a team on a large project
  • Experience in an Agile development environment
  • Interest in cloud technologies like AWS and Azure
  • Interest in systems like Apache Kafka and Amazon Kinesis
