Job Description

Are you a highly skilled Java Developer with an interest in working for a leading government integrator? If so, we may have the ideal opportunity for you with our client in Baltimore!

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities of the Java Developer:

  • Understand requirements; design, develop, and unit test Java based applications in an Agile environment
    • Application architectures include web applications, web services, batch applications, and database operations
  • Leverage familiarity with Agile software development methodologies to inform development practices

Requirements of the Java Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience
  • Strong Java EE, JavaScript, Subversion, SonarQube, Jenkins, and Nexus development skills
  • Excellent Maven, WildFly (formerly JBOSS), Apache HTTP and Tomcat, HTML5, CSS3, JSP, XML,  and Spring Framework skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment and knowledge of Agile software development methods preferred
