Job Description

Our client is seeking a talented Java Developer to work with them remotely.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities of the Java Developer:
  • Support specialized technology areas such as Web design, analysis, design, development, integration, etc
  • Facilitate strategic planning to oversee and market technology necessary for business operations
  • Assist with user training on an as needed basis
  • Generate relevant technical documentation and collaborate on technical presentations
  • Follow organizational standards and industry best practices
Requirements of the Java Developer:
  • Bachelors degree in a Computer Science or related and 5 years experience or equivalent combination of advanced degree and/or experience
  • Ability to perform Spring/JEE and Core Java programming
  • Experience with Linux operating system, JavaScript, and DOM manipulation
  • CompTIA Security Plus Certification
  • Ability to mentor other engineers
  • Experience with Apache and JBoss or other web servers such as Tomcat a plus
