Our client is seeking a JavaScript Developer for a contract to hire opportunity with a Ecommerce employer in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities of the JavaScript/React Developer:

  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions throughout the full SDLC
  • Build and maintain JavaScript web applications
  • Write concise, efficient, and testable code
  • Document and maintain software functionality

Requirements of the JavaScript/React Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 5 years of comparable industry experience
  • Expertise in site performance profiling and tuning
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, React, and Javascript (modern JS experience preferred)
  • Proficient in relational data store technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Proficient in source control including Git and command line navigation
  • Experience or understanding of GraphQL (Apollo)
  • Solid understanding of UI development patterns
