Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Java Developer with our industry-leading client in Baltimore, MD. The candidate will serve as an entry level developer to facilitate continuous development, integration, deployment, testing and monitoring in a fast-paced environment

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. We offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with classes of technology used to create enterprise systems, such as object-oriented programming, enterprise web application runtimes, relational and NoSQL databases, data interchange formats.
  • Knowledge of technologies such as Java, .NET, WebSphere Liberty; MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, JSON
  • Knowledge of relational database concepts, with practical experience integrating an application with a database
  • Must possess outstanding communications, writing, and grammar skills
  • Preferred experience in Version One, Agile project management method & Version Control Software such as Bitbucket and Git.
  • Requires BS degree in a related discipline and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
