We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior-Mid Level Project Manager with our industry-leading client in Washington.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a [Public Trust/Secret/Top Secret] Clearance. Responsibilities of the Junior-Mid Level Project Manager:

  • Ensure all company processes and policies are followed
  • Recommend methods to collect data from various projects 
  • Support the development, documentation, and monitoring of all aspects of program areas
  • Develop operational plans and orders supporting requirements 
  • Manages and administers processes and tools that enable the organization to identify, document, and access planning content
  • Consult with customers to gather and evaluate functional requirements and translates these requirements into technical solutions
  • Risk assessment and resolution to meet security requirements and maintain best practices
  • Track audit findings and recommend solutions
  • Ensure security improvement actions are evaluated, validated, and implemented as required
  • Conduct risk analysis, feasibility study, and/or trade-off analysis to develop, document, and refine functional requirements and specifications
  • Perform daily monitoring of process compliance and performance
  • Optimize a security information portal 

Requirements of the Junior-Mid Level Project Manager:

  • BA in related field and 3 years of direct relevant work experience
  • PMP certification
  • Knowledge of capabilities and requirements analysis
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to conduct briefings and present materials to large audiences 
  • Knowledge of creating process workflows
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge with relevant Information Security federal/special publications 
  • Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools that support continuous monitoring
  • Expertise in cross-mapping the security controls that scanning tools validate against NIST Continuous Monitoring domains within NIST SP 800-137, NIST SP 800- 53 revision four, and the Council on Cybersecurity analysis of those tools
  • Knowledge of information security program management and project management principles and techniques
