Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Junior Technical Writer with our leading client in Pittsburgh.

Responsibilities of the Junior Technical Writer:

  • Develop and test complex user scenarios for project being documented
  • Generate complex documentation in accordance with documentation plan requirements
  • Create and maintain documentation related to managed accounts

Requirements of the Junior Technical Writer:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to gather, organize, and synthesize complex subject matter so that it is easily understood by target audience
  • Ability to drive a project to completion, including creating a schedule, gathering information from SMEs, and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to concisely restate complex instructions into actionable steps and understand how multiple instruction sets interact
  • Experience in a professional technical writing environment
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Word, Excel, WebEx preferred
