Job Description

We have a wonderful opportunity for a Lean Scrum Master with our large and growing client in Denver.

Responsibilities of the Lean Scrum Master:

  • Act as the Scrum Master for multiple Agile and/or Kanban teams
  • Reinforce the principles of Lean/Agile and SAFe and Scrum and Kanban best practices
  • Facilitate team meetings/Scrum ceremonies including retrospectives and planning sessions
  • Identify and remove any impediments to team success
  • Identify and execute on opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Facilitate, coach, and inspire team without coercion 
  • Communicate key metrics to technology management

Requirements of the Lean Scrum Master:

  • At least 2 years of experience within a Lean/Agile software product development environment
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and at least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master preferred
  • Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe
  • Understanding of Lean/Agile principles and how to use metrics
  • Strong understanding of how to address conflict and mediate to enable high performing teams
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication as well as listening skills
  • Goal and detail oriented
  • Confident yet humble
