Are you a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer, ideally with a background supporting pharmaceutical development equipment?

If so, we may have the ideal contract role for you with our client in Kalamazoo.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:
  • Support ongoing drug product development
  • Establish preventative maintenance for equipment in line with industry guidelines
  • Select maintenance strategy for new equipment and update to keep strategy current
  • Perform root cause failure analysis of equipment deficiencies 
  • Develop design modifications to improve performance
Requirements of the Product Development Engineer:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in maintenance engineering
  • Ability to perform complex data analysis and mathematical calculations  
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent reading comprehension skills
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred
  • Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment preferred
  • Ability to work overtime as required
