Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a MS Dynamics Developer with our industry-leading client in NYC.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities of the MS Dynamics Developer:

  • Develop high quality technical solutions that meet business requirements for the Dynamics AX accounting system
  • Take ownership for development deliverables from end-to-end, include ensuring adequate unit testing
  • Design, develop, and consume APIs for integrations to and from Dynamics AX, custom apps, and vendor or cloud solutions
  • Collaborate extensively with business analysts and end users to inform approach for new functionality
  • Prepare and manage test environment for Dynamics AX

Requirements of the MS Dynamics Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in private equity or investment management firms preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in software systems and processes
  • Must have extensive experience with MS Dynamics AX 2012 R3 X++ development
  • Experience with MS technology stack, SQL Server, .NET, C#, and Visual Studio Team Services  
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with Cloud-based development and specifically Azure is a plus, but not required
  • Experience and effectiveness with troubleshooting and issue resolution 
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to direct work independently 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and execute collaboratively
