Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Automation Developer with our leading financial client in Rockville.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Business Automation Developer:

  • Independently develop software applications
  • Research, plan, design, customize, and integrate application components
  • Design and code solutions on .NET platform following industry best practices 
  • Ensure developed code is of high quality and thoroughly tested
  • Validate the proper execution of scheduled jobs in a timely fashion
  • Develop queries and reports as required using SQL and Access

Requirements of the Business Automation Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of related work experience
  • Experience developing data-driven applications with VB.NET, XML, or similar 
  • Solid critical thinking skills, excellent judgement, strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Access
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with the relational database model
  • Ability to work effectively and independently
