Are you a Network Cable Technician with extensive experience in telecommunications?

If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in Arlington.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities of the Network Cable Technician:
  • Analyze, administer, troubleshoot, and maintain network infrastructure
  • Resolve escalated problems with the installation and documentation of new and/or updated network infrastructure
  • Support routers, switches, copper, fiber, and all associated elements
  • Follow enterprise and commercial best practices and standards for cable installation, wiring, and testing
Requirements of the Network Cable Technician:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • At least 5 years of related telecommunications experience
  • IAT Level II certification: Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.
  • Experience with BGP/VXLAN/EVPN/802.1x/Arista/Aruba/SDN
  • Word/Excel/Visio experience
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand on a ladder
