Are you a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer? Are you interested in working for a key government integrator, with the ability to travel to Antarctica as required? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in Centennial!

Due to federal security contract requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Network Engineer:

  • Provide subject matter expertise for VoIP systems
  • Perform fault isolation and diagnosis to resolve problems
  • Proactively find ways to improve VoIP efficiency and reliability
  • Appropriately document all VoIP system changes
  • Ensure and maintain secure networking environments
  • May deploy to Antarctica at manager's discretion, typically for 6-8 weeks/year
  • Provide support for 24/7 on-call rotation

Requirements of the Network Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience; or, Master's degree and at least 5 years of experience
  • Extensive expertise in Cisco Unified Communications Manager design and deployment
  • Extensive expertise with recent versions of Cisco Unity/Unity Connection
  • Demonstrated expertise designing new VoIP systems/upgrading existing systems
  • Expertise in network topologies, LANs/WANs, TCP/IP, and network standards
  • Expertise in enterprise network design, implementation, and support
  • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Cisco routers and switches
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
