Are you a skilled Network Engineer searching for an opportunity with advancement potential with a growing organization? If so, we might have just the role for you with our leading client in Southborough!

There are two openings for this role, with the following schedules: 1st shift - Wednesday - Saturday 5AM-5PM; 2nd shift - Wednesday - Saturday 1PM - 11PM.

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer network and cyber security incidents
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers
  • Escalate complex network and security incidents to senior engineers as needed
  • Regularly attend internal and external training sessions
  • Work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Work toward development goals in individual development plan

Requirements of the Network Engineer:

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience with routing and switching and next generation firewalls (Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto)
  • Ability to leverage analytical, problem solving, and conceptual skills to work independently to resolve incidents
  • Ability to monitor, tune, and troubleshoot systems
  • Strong customer focus - ability to work well with customers of varying technical expertise
  • Strong desire and ability to quickly learn, develop proficiency, and apply new skills
  • CCNA and/or Security+ certification is ideal
