Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Node Developer with our industry-leading client in New York City.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Node Developer:

  • Prepare client for new versions of iOS
  • Manage Apple News Content Pipeline
  • Incorporate new media types/formats into Apple News on core platform support for audio and video
  • Build tools to give client’s editors more control over feed content
  • Technical execution of projects
  • Recommend stable frameworks/solutions based on the companies best practices

Technical Requirements Node Developer:

  • 2 years of experience using Node.js
  • Experience building scalable APIs with working knowledge of REST
  • Agile methodologies and SDLC 
  • Competency developing, validating, and deploying web and/or mobile applications.
  • Strong knowledge of non-functional areas, such as performance, scalability, user experience, etc.
