We have an opportunity to join our client as a Field Security Technician on a 12-month contract with likelihood to extend. The organization is a stable and growing enterprise where consultants have delivered positive outcomes over many years.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $25.00 to $35.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:

- Program Physical Access Control System access points and security components including readers, monitor points, and outputs.
- Configure and program Video Management Systems including NVRs, cameras, and analytics.
- Troubleshoot PACS and VMS components that malfunction and restore functionality.
- Test PACS and VMS components with field testers to confirm proper operation once online.
- Communicate task progress and issues with teammates and business stakeholders.
- Serve as an onsite liaison across jobsites and adhere to safety standards with required PPE.

- Field systems support experience with 50–75% travel, preferably in PACS or access control environments.
- Hands-on PACS and access control systems experience.
- Exposure to Video Management Software administration and support.
- Experience programming PACS readers, monitor points, and outputs.
- Experience configuring VMS components including NVRs, cameras, and analytics.
- Proficiency troubleshooting PACS and VMS hardware and software issues.
- Experience testing security components with field tools to validate operation.
- Effective communication with project teams and stakeholders.
