Responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist:

  • Coordinate across divisions to gather information on division status
  • Track contract, acquisition, procurement, and budget development
  • Provide data, data trends, and supporting analysis to management
  • Develop and monitor policies and programs for acquisition
  • Review contract actions or provisions to determine regulatory compliance
  • Analyze organizational policies and make recommendations for improvements
  • Leverage excellent writing skills to prepare minutes and correspondence 

Requirements of the Procurement Specialist:

  • At least 2 years of procurement experience
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, PeopleSoft, etc.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills
