Eliassen Group is currently assisting a high profile government client find a Qlik Developer to add to its team. This position is 100% remote. This role supports the critical mission for the public health of the nation, working at the prestigious National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda MD.  Your contributions to the Business Information Management Support (BIMS) program will inform, enhance, and stream-line the use and management of the technology as well as the decision making processes that facilitate the missions of the component organizations of the NIH.  We offer many opportunities for cross-training, skills enhancement, and skills development in new areas providing you career growth while part of a dynamic and vital company.

  • Convert and rebuild QlikView applications in Qlik Sense
  • Design and develop new Qlik Sense applications
  • Access upstream data sources to extract data and load it into Qlik Sense
  • Perform data modeling actions on the Qlik Sense platform
  • Evaluate and refine customer requirements for Business Intelligence applications
  • Troubleshoot Business Intelligence applications on the Qlik Sense platform
  • B.S. in Computer Science or similar IT field. Significant domain-specific work experience may supersede the need for a degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Business Intelligence platform Qlikview or Qlik Sense. 
  • Ability to acquire Level 5 Public Trust

  •  Ability to write SQL queries
  • Experience developing applications in MS Power BI
  • Prior experience working with the National Institutes of Health
  • Ability to effectively communicate across many channels with various stakeholders from the operations level to executives
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders both within and outside the immediate project team
