Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Release and Environment Coordinator to join our highly regarded client in Charlotte, NC.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet with key stakeholders to identify proper sequencing of release packages. 
  • Ensure that issues and risks are identified, understood, and dealt with in a manner that mitigates risk to scope and schedule.
  • Define and document the release recommendation for each release and/or change to production.
  • Coordinate and schedule key change to production activities. 
  • Identify opportunities to make tactical improvements to the release management process.
  • Maintain documentation of all processes.
  • Collects feedback from the users of release management standards and identifies the need to modify or retire a standard based on the feedback.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge and understanding of JAVA, .NET Framework and Web Architecture (Apache Web Server, IIS) etc. 
  • Experience deploying code and automation experience managing the code deployment to Windows Platforms 
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, an understanding of quality standards and best practices. 
  • Experience building, testing and implementing complex integration solutions. 
  • Lead the coordination of testing and deployment of new and existing Applications. 
  • Experience using Oracle database tools, writing Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views and complex SQL statements. 
  • Ability to interact and communicate successfully with both business and IT teams. 
  • Ability to translate technical concepts and terminology into language that can be understood by non-technical individuals. 
  • Experience using HP Quality Center. 
  • Experience with outage coordination and operations logging applications. 
  • Understand Data Modeling Concepts related to Oracle databases.
