Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a SAFe Lean Portfolio Coach with our leading client in Dallas.

Note: LPM is significantly different than traditional portfolio management. In many cases, an existing legacy mindset—with annual planning and budgeting cycles and traditional measures of progress—severely inhibits the enterprise’s transition to agility. In response, SAFe recommends seven transformational patterns to move the organization to the leaner, more effective approach described in the article Extend to the Portfolio.

Lean Portfolio Management is applying lean thinking to managing enterprise, program and product portfolios to provide a fast and flexible flow of high-value work. Lean Portfolio Management prioritizes alignment and achievement of business outcomes over focusing on work and deliverables.

Responsibilities of the SAFe Lean Portfolio Coach:

  • Lead executives in the definition, design and implementation of an Agile strategy
  • Expertly coach in Agile practices (i.e., Lean, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Provide Agile thought leadership to client executives
  • Understand the business and technical implications of transforming to an Agile environment

Requirements of the SAFe Lean Portfolio Coach:

  • At least 8 years of Agile experience
  • At least 5 years of Agile Coaching experience
  • At least 3 years of SAFe Agile Coaching experience
  • MUST have SPC4.6 Certification

Keywords: SAFe Lean Portfolio Coach, Agile, SPC 4.6, Scrum, Kanban
