Responsibilities of the SAFe Program Coach:

  • Provide leadership regarding product, engineering, and architecture
  • Foster a Lean Agile mindset at all levels of the organization
  • Encourage trust within and among teams to work in alignment
  • Monitor team sprints and remove any impediments to success
  • Clearly and effectively communicate any changes in plan/scope of work
  • Lead SAFe ceremonies

Requirements of the SAFe Program Coach:

  • Up to date SPC4 Certification 
  • Thorough knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe methodologies 
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and TDD
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully coaching individuals, teams, and multiple teams concurrently
  • Experience leading coaching improvements for common problems encountered in SAFe implementation
  • Embody servant-leadership mindset through coaching, mentoring, and dialogue
  • Experience coaching leadership on behavioral or process improvements
  • Exceptional and effective listening and communication skills
  • Strong familiarity with Rally, VersionOne, Jira/Confluence, or equivalent tool
