Job Description

We have an exciting new position based out of Boston, MA for a Salesforce Architect/Developer.

The selected candidate will deliver technology solutions leveraging strong technical experience to architect, engineer and provide guidance in delivery of key related initiatives.
This position is responsible for ensuring alignment of project specific designs with the Salesforce application architecture roadmap, supporting project and/or product teams on functional and technical design activities.
Defining the interaction between application packages, databases, and middle-ware systems to optimize product functional coverage; acting as subject matter expert (SME) for products that require integration into Salesforce.

Responsibilities of the Salesforce Architect/Developer:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for technical and solution architecture that will include configuration, development, integration, and customization of complex Salesforce environments
  • Oversee technical solution design and delivery of features, including integration with 3rd party applications
  • Provide technical guidance and be a technical mentor to the Salesforce team
  • Analyze highly complex requirements, provide coding direction to other Salesforce developers and develop high quality code with supporting unit test and automation tests
  • Organize and lead technical design sessions and prepare technical design documentation for features planned for a release
  • Administer, customize and configure Salesforce features including but not limited to Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Workflows, Reports, Dashboards, Objects, Fields, Record Types, Validation Rules, etc.
  • Use SOQL when needed to write queries and analyze data
  • Help define technical standards and guidelines for Salesforce
Requirements of the Salesforce Architect/Developer:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or similar is preferred
  • 3+ years experience working as a developer/architect in
  • 3+ years experience with SOQL, SQL, XML, APEX, Visualforce, Lighting
  • Must have knowledge of Salesforce Lightning
