Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an SCCM Engineer with Active Directory expertise with our industry-leading national security client in DC.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. All applicants must be willing and able to convert to FTE following contract period.

Responsibilities of the SCCM Engineer:

  • Support, implement, and design MS AD services and Windows-based systems across the enterprise
  • Complete assigned cases and change requests and act as an escalation point for support issues
  • Research and collaborate to apply new solutions and determine course of action for new application initiatives 
  • Contribute to the technical direction of all areas of PKI architecture
  • Ensure computer security in a Windows/Linux OS environment

Requirements of the SCCM Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience
  • Strong network experience: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VoIP, SSL, VPN, firewalls, etc.
  • Extensive experience with MS Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies
  • Knowledge of administering AD and GPO
  • Experience with VMware vSphere/vCenter 5.x/6.x
  • Experience with O365 management and configuration
  • Ability to maintain and contribute to documentation
