Job Description

Our client in McLean, VA seeks an experienced certified Scrum Master to support multiple Data projects. This position requires a seasoned Scrum Master with hands-on experience in Agile Methods, including Scrum, Kanban and SAFe.  This is a contract to hire position.

Requirements of the Scrum Master:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) required
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Agile practices
  • At least 5 years of experience in development project life cycle activities 
  • At least 3 years of hands-on Agile Scrum Master experience for multiple delivery teams
  • Strong ability to lead teams in a diverse environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience achieving Agile success in distributed environments
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to interact across all levels
  • Ability to facilitate discussions about alternatives or different problem solving approaches
  • Effective coaching, leadership, and mentoring skills
  • Strong influence, collaboration, and negotiation skills
  • Hands-on experience with VersionOne, TFS, or Jira
  • SAFe certification preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
