Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a skilled Scrum Master with our industry-leading client in Long Island. In this role, you will drive Agile maturity and innovation approaches across a line of business.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis.

This position is on site in Long Island City 5 days a week. Please do not apply if you cannot commute to Long Island City Monday through Friday. 

Responsibilities of the Scrum Master:

  • Coach teams on Scrum and Kanban principles and best practices
  • Focus teams to deliver value quickly
  • Foster a culture of openness, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Leverage data to measure and monitor progress against commitments
  • Facilitate the definition of ready and definition of done criteria for stories
  • Embody servant-leadership philosophy

Requirements of the Scrum Master:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • At least 4 years of experience leading Agile teams on technology projects
  • At least 2 years of experience with Big Data or AWS Cloud projects
  • At least 1 year of experience in cloud services - AWS, Azure, Google
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
