**Hybrid Remote | 2 weeks per month onsite in Westlake, TX**

Pay: $55 - $60/hr W2
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and tools using Java to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Engage in hands-on coding to create robust, scalable, and efficient test scripts.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.
- Conduct thorough API testing to validate the functionality, performance, and security of web services.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and high-quality code standards.
- Continuously enhance test automation processes and methodologies to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our testing practices remain innovative and effective.
Experience Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in Java programming, with a strong emphasis on hands-on coding.
- Proven experience as an SDET or similar role, with a focus on test automation and API testing.
- Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Experience with test automation frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar is a plus.
- Experience with performance testing tools and techniques is a plus.
