Job Description

Are you experienced in quality assurance and software engineering?

Are you interested in working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment for an industry leader?

If so, we may have the ideal role for you  as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with our financial services client in Durham!

Responsibilities of the SDET:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Develop and execute automation scripts
  • Identify, document, and track bugs
  • Monitor and ensure successfully debugging
  • Track and report on quality assurance metrics
  • Maintain and evolve knowledge of modern testing practices
 Requirements of the SDET:
  • Excellent software development and QA experience
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans/cases
  • Experience with TDD and automated testing tools: Selenium, Cucumber, etc.
  • Strong experience with SQL, scripting, and Agile/Scrum environments
  • Knowledge of DevOps and Continuous Delivery
