Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Architect with our industry-leading client in Boston.

We will accept corp to corp or w2 contractors. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Responsibilities of the Security Architect:

  • Evaluate network and security technologies, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, and firewalls and ensure adherence to industry standards
  • Guide information security and provide architectural support to customers throughout the project using a risk-based approach
  • Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures; recommend changes or enhancements
  • Document and maintain a log of information security risks associated with projects
  • Advise on vulnerability patching and remediation 

Requirements of the Security Architect:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • CISSP, CEH, Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
  • Experience with security architecture framework, threat landscape, and vulnerability management
  • Knowledge of security monitoring and analytics tools and processes
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks and requirements (HIPAA, SOX, etc.)
