Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Security Engineer with our industry-leading client in Rockville.

Responsibilities of the Security Engineer:

  • Evaluate software applications for appropriate security controls
  • Provide subject matter expertise on best practices related to application security
  • Support the planning and execution of application security testing and evaluation program
  • Research and implement new security technologies for IT initiatives

Requirements of the Security Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or experience
  • At least 1 year of post-grad experience with software engineering and/or software security evaluation
  • Experience with Java/J2EE or C#/ASP.NET
  • Experience with Fortify SCA, Checkmarx, Metasploit, etc.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
