Our client is assembling a next-generation AI engineering team to reimagine the claims lifecycle with AI and Generative AI. This early-stage, high-impact initiative emphasizes rapid experimentation, iteration, and delivery of real-world AI solutions that improve claims triage, investigation, and operational efficiency. Senior AI Engineers will design AI-driven applications, integrate LLMs and modern AI frameworks, and build scalable services that move concepts into production.
We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $80.00 to $90.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop AI-driven applications and services to enhance claims processing and decision-making.
- Build and integrate solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, and modern AI frameworks.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate in a fail-fast environment.
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs to support AI workflows.
- Contribute to architecture and design decisions for a growing AI platform.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business problems into technical AI solutions.
Experience Requirements:
- Strong experience in Python development.
- Hands-on experience building backend or full-stack applications with exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI.
- Experience with APIs, distributed systems, or scalable application architecture.
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, experimental environments with evolving requirements.
- Preferred: Experience with LLMs and Generative AI frameworks.
- Preferred: Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks or agentic AI.
- Preferred: Experience with JavaScript/Node.js and front-end React.
- Preferred: Experience tuning or deploying AI models in production.
- Ideal backgrounds include application development transitioning into AI or ML engineering expanding into broader AI solutions.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
