Rate: $70 - $75 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Join our team to build backend applications that deliver magical experiences
- Modernize capabilities to support, craft, and develop reusable Java applications, optimizing quality and deployment practices
- Collaborate with business, partners, and engineers to enable new capabilities and respond to events
- Contribute to the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, as part of an agile, multi-functional team
- Share your technical knowledge to strengthen our engineering community and pursue your own learning of new technologies and skills
Experience Requirements:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Java 8+, with expertise in web application frameworks like Spring Boot and RESTful API development
- Strong experience with CI/CD practices and a shared DevOps model
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Argo CD, Terraform, AWS DevOps, Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana
- Experience in developing and deploying applications in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of AWS Toolsets, including SQS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, Kinesis, CloudFormation
- Proven experience in designing, building, and documenting customer-facing RESTful APIs
Education Requirements:
Bachelors in Computer Science Required
