Our client’s core brokerage technology group designs, develops, implements, and supports applications for industry-leading brokerage platforms. The team delivers innovative solutions to meet customer needs and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. This is a fast-paced environment focused on distributed and cloud-based technologies to address complex client requirements.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $58.00 to $68.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:

- Design and develop cloud-centric solutions leveraging AWS managed services.
- Build and maintain REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker on ECS or EKS.
- Implement serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
- Develop web applications using front-end and back-end JavaScript frameworks.
- Apply test-driven development practices to ensure code quality.
- Collaborate in an agile environment with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and support applications using tools such as Splunk, Datadog, or Kibana.
- Manage code repositories and workflows using GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Contribute to complex architecture and technology initiatives.
Experience Requirements:

- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with complex architectural designs and large-scale initiatives.
- Experience in agile development environments.
- Hands-on experience with test-driven development.
- REST API development using Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
- Containerization with Docker and deployment on ECS or EKS.
- Application development on AWS including ECS, EC2, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, ALB, and Route 53.
- Web development using Angular, Node.js, and Express.
- Working knowledge of Oracle and NoSQL databases.
- Repository management using GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Operational support using Splunk, Datadog, or Kibana.
- DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Terraform and Jenkins preferred.
- Automated testing with BDD and TDD frameworks such as Jest, Cucumber, Mocha, Selenium, and Istanbul preferred.
- Understanding of digital certificate management preferred.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Motivation to stay current with emerging technology trends.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- AWS certifications are a plus.
