Job Description

Are you an experienced Architect with DevOps and automation expertise? Are you interested in working with diverse technologies to automate manual processes with a leading government integrator? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in DC.

Due to federal security contract requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities of the Senior DevOps Cloud Architect:

  • Leverage automation to transform established infrastructure
  • Support new systems environment builds and the upgrade of existing systems
  • Provide hands-on support for development of infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Analyze infrastructure automation requirements and code development
  • Work with Red Hat product stack and virtualization technologies
  • Monitor system and application performance to test and detect errors

Requirements of the Senior DevOps Cloud Architect:

  • Master's degree in a related field and at least 15 years of experience
  • Extensive experience with DevOps concepts and automation
  • Certifications are a strong plus: AWS, Azure, GCP, Chef, Jenkins, etc.
  • Experience building IaC in a controlled environment 
  • Solid understanding of full life cycle configuration management
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CM tools (Chef)
  • Experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
