Are you a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with advanced SQL skills and the desire to join a small but growing company? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in Bethesda.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

This is an early first shift position: 4 AM - 1 PM, M-F.

Responsibilities of the Senior DevOps Engineer:

  • Build monitoring, alerts, and metrics for production services
  • Facilitate critical deployment and maintenance communication between Ops and ETL teams
  • Coordinate deployment of ETL code into production environment
  • Resolve production incidents related to ETL jobs
  • Escalate appropriately and efficiently as needed

Requirements of the Senior DevOps Engineer:

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical operations, software development or DevOps
  • At least 3 years of experience in software testing, release management, or database performance optimization
  • Experience with RDBMS: MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Redshift, etc.
  • Advanced SQL and scripting skills
