Job Description

Are you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer with subject matter expertise in F5 systems?

If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our leading government integrator client in DC!

This is a contract to hire position. Due to federal security contract requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. 

Requirements of the Senior F5 Network Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience; current CCNP certification required
  • At least 8 years of experience in large-scale enterprise networks in fast-paced, diverse environments
  • Extensive experience with F5 Big IP maintenance and support
  • Expertise in EIGRP BGP and OSPF protocols; spanning-tree, port-security, port-channels, and multicast
  • Expertise in Cisco IOS and IOS-XE; Cisco firewall/VPN equipment
  • Working knowledge of network security practices
  • Ability to provide support for critical maintenance windows
