Project goals:

  • Part of a team tasked with improving customer experience and reducing operating costs by migrating from agent-assisted to self-service features in the 4.5 star mobile app used by millions of users
  • Coordinates with federated API teams to ensure secure integration with backend systems and PCI DSS compliance
  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams across multiple lines of business to architect scalable solutions
  • Continually investigates improvements to authentication and identity services, with emphasis on open-source solutions
  • Improved internal development processes by designing and documenting a streamlined Git workflow and establishing best practices for universal app design


  • Develop iOS client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adheres to established engineering best practices, design guidelines and principles
  • Partner with Software Engineers, Designers, Quality Engineers, and Product Owners/Analysts to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Actively participate in all team Agile ceremonies and deliver commitments on time
  • Contribute high quality, documented, thoroughly tested, and resilient solutions
  • Write and help maintain automated, unit, integration, and manual tests
  • Identify technical obstacles early and work closely with team to find creative solutions
  • Review pull requests, ensuring adherence to established conventions and style guide
  • Demonstrate and maintain proficiency with idiomatic Swift
