Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Java Developer supporting our federal client in DC. In this role, you will utilize Java, SQL, .NET, and a range of technologies to support case management and electronic case filing systems.

Due to federal security contract requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities of the Senior Java Developer:

  • Work within an Agile development team to support full life cycle software development
  • Gather requirements, define architecture, design, develop, test, and deploy applications
  • Strive to continuously improve SDLC practices, including TDD and code reviews
  • Ensure system design follows industry-best practices and standards

Requirements of the Senior Java Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree and extensive experience in Java development, automated testing, and support
  • Experience with JSP, Servlets, and/or JSF
  • Experience with RESTful web services
  • Experience with ORM tools/frameworks (Hibernate)
  • Experience with Git or equivalent tool
