Job Description

We have a wonderful opportunity for a Senior Linux Systems Administrator with our leading national security client in DC.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities of the Senior Linux Systems Administrator:

  • Manage and maintain network and infrastructure and provide operational support
  • Implement and maintain approved standard operating procedures for the support center
  • Assist with the operation and maintenance of security tools and provide cyber security support
  • Track all work in the organizational ITSM system
  • Provide routine operational maintenance 

Requirements of the Senior Linux Systems Administrator:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related technical discipline
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to perform Linux/Solaris administrator duties for a large program
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
