We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to join our industry-leading client in Southborough.

Responsibilities of the Senior Network Engineer:

  • Administer networking infrastructure and ensure that it complies with design standards
  • Monitor network performance to ensure SLA's are met
  • Proactively assess and recommend opportunities for improvement/enhancement
  • Configure switches, routers, and firewalls in complex IP networks: LAN, WAN, Wireless, and VoIP
  • Maintain current documentation of assigned customer networks
  • Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements of the Senior Network Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering preferred
  • CCNP and Security+ certifications required
  • CCSA and PCNSE certifications are nice to have
  • At least 10 years of experience in networking technologies and protocols
  • Solid, in-depth understanding of TCP/IP networking
  • Advanced proficiency in Cisco and Juniper switches and routers
  • Experience with network troubleshooting tools like Wireshark and tcpdump
  • Experience with both Checkpoint and Palo Alto firewalls
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework
