Senior OKTA Multi-Factor Authentication Consultant
 
Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity available for a Senior OKTA Multi-Factor Authentication Consultant to work on a 12-month contract position in Alpharetta, GA.  The position can also sit in Stamford, CT, Chicago, IL or Charlotte, NC.  The pay rate is in the $100/hour - $120/hour range. Available for w-2 or c2c. 
 
Responsibilities of the Senior OKTA Multi-Factor Authentication Consultant:
Responsible for technical architecture, engineering, and support for the client’s Okta Multi-Factor Authentication solution to include DR environment. This role will work in conjunction with Identity Access Management team, Multi-Factor Engineer and Privileged Technologies Lead to assist with installing and configuring MFA POC environment and testing of POC based on defined use cases. After a successful POC role will be responsible to assist with developing a deployment plan and work through the process of full production deployment of the MFA solution. The MFA Engineer will then be responsible for integrating MFA solution with servers, defined high-risk applications, and endpoints.
 
Essential Responsibilities:
• Implement and configure OKTA MFA solution including Risk and Policy controls for testing in POC environment to include Server authentication, Application integration (current applications integrated with RSA and additional for POC), Integrations with external high-risk applications, and Endpoint authentication (laptops and desktops)
• Configure and deploy OKTA MFA in production after POC completion
• Provide troubleshooting and configuration applications, MFA endpoints, and API integrations
• Assist with operationalizing MFA support-monitoring, SPLUNK
• Collaborate within IAM organization and across IS to help implement and integrate new OKTA MFA solution
       
Requirements for the Senior OKTA Multi-Factor Authentication Consultant:
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in configuring, implementing and support of Multi-Factor Technology
• Experience integrating OKTA MFA technology with server infrastructure, applications and endpoints preferably in an AWS public cloud or Azure environment on at least one large project.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Authentication architectures such as Rest APIs
• Minimum of 3 years of Identity and Access Management
• Minimum of 5 years of in-depth troubleshooting skills across various technologies to include Windows, AD, ADFS, and LDAP
• Cloud experience Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure or equivalent
• Experience with administration or implementation in AWS public cloud and on-prem private cloud technologies
 
Preferred Skills/Characteristics:
• Excellent communication skills written and oral
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to collaborate across IT functions for troubleshooting
• Effective troubleshooting skills-software and OS level
• Familiarity with FIDO2 authentication standards
• Familiarity with ServiceNow
