Job Description

Are you a highly experienced Python Developer with strong Natural Language Processing development experience? Are you interested in joining our leading government integrator client? If so, we may have the ideal role for you with our client in Baltimore!

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities of the Senior Python/NLP Developer:

  • Leverage NLTK in Python to develop applications that meet enterprise requirements
  • Advise and mentor other Python developers on NLTK use within Python
  • Ensure appropriate and adequate testing of all code and logic
  • Schedule code reviews to review code and changes
  • Develop and document technical solutions using UML

Requirements of the Senior Python/NLP Developer:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field and at least 12 years of relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Python unit testing
  • Strong knowledge of Python modules: NLTK, scikit learn, numpy, etc.
  • Experience with RESTful web services implementations
  • Strong experience with Natural Language Processing
  • Experience with Bottle or Flask and Python web servers
