We have an exciting role in the New York City area as a Senior Scrum Master to join our industry-leading client.

Responsibilities of the Senior Scrum Master:

  • Lead new product development on multiple Scrum teams
  • Demonstrated experience and appreciation in different styles of Agile, i.e. Scrum, Kanban and SAFe methodologies
  • Facilitate process of deciding which stories will be included in each sprint through understanding teams velocity and story scope and size
  • Mentor immature scrum teams
  • Manage progress by facilitating Agile ceremonies and helping team members overcome roadblocks
  • Coordinate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review/retrospective sessions with rest of employees
  • Provide visibility into progress by maintaining burndown charts, velocity analysis, etc.
  • Deliver hands-on coaching of individual teams in all aspects of scrum 

Requirements of the Senior Scrum Master:

  • Familiar with various agile project management tools including JIRA and confluence
  • Certified scrum master (CSM)
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
  • SAFe practitioner (SP)
  • Certified SAFe Agilist (SA).
  • Experience in a similar role or possess knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed. 
  • Relevant education and/or training will be considered
