Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Software Developer with our industry-leading client in Bowie.

Responsibilities of the Senior Software Developer:

  • Design, develop, and implement software systems in line with established timelines and in accordance with Agile SDLC methodology
  • Research, plan, estimate, design, and ensure customization and integration components that are designed to meet the business needs
  • Work with business and product teams to understand technical specifications and participate in customer support processes
  • Design and code technical solutions on MS .NET platform with best practices and common patterns
  • Validate successful project completion through established quality assurance processes
  • Troubleshoot issues and proactively monitor and maintain existing software applications

Requirements of the Senior Software Developer:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
  • At least 7 years of development experience with MS .NET technologies
  • At least 4 years of experience with MS SQL Server and other common backend MS technologies
  • Excellent understanding of .NET 4.0+ framework and .NET Core development techniques
  • Experience in 12-factor app architecture, design, and implementation
  • Strong understanding of US healthcare domain and payer industry
  • Experience in Pivotal Cloud Foundry or AWS/Azure a plus
  • Experience with EHR systems: Epic, Allscripts, AthenaHealth, etc.
  • Technical expertise within the interoperability arena
