Our client is a large, privately held financial services organization with broad offerings for individual and institutional investors. The team builds an enterprise-grade platform for storing, trading, and servicing digital assets with a startup mindset and global reach. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $57.00 to $67.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deliver reliable, scalable, and reusable application code.
- Build secure services and APIs that support digital asset transactions across networks such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
- Implement microservices and RESTful services using modern frameworks.
- Apply test-driven development and automation to ensure code quality and operational excellence.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across the end-to-end technology stack.
- Mentor engineers on software engineering best practices and foster a culture of innovation.
- Collaborate with architects and technical leaders to execute on product and platform vision.
- Take ownership of deliverables and drive outcomes within defined timeframes.
Experience Requirements:

- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Proficiency with Java, React, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Applied TDD with tools such as JUnit and API testing tools including Bruno and Postman.
- Exposure to observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk and Datadog.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container-based deployments (preferred).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex end-to-end data and system issues.
- Expertise in software design, development, testing, and operational automation.
- Hands-on AWS experience or demonstrated desire to build cloud expertise through certifications or training.
- Ability to work independently and professionally under pressure and within tight timelines.
- Demonstrated collaboration, curiosity, and mentoring mindset.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- AWS certification or cloud training (preferred).
