The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to AI-enabled developer experiences and platforms within a collaborative engineering team. The role will focus on building reusable workflows, applying software engineering best practices, and leveraging modern AI tools and techniques. The organization values open-source participation and continuous learning in pursuit of high-quality, scalable solutions.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $68.00 to $78.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain services and workflows that integrate AI tools and models to improve developer productivity.
- Design, implement, and optimize AI-driven workflows using skills.md, LangGraph, or comparable technologies.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including clean code, testing, and design patterns, to deliver maintainable systems.
- Collaborate within a diverse engineering team to plan and deliver next-generation platform capabilities.
- Contribute to open-source efforts and share knowledge to foster a learning culture.
Experience Requirements:

- Extensive experience with at least two programming languages such as Python, Node, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI tools including GitHub Copilot, Gemini, or Claude.
- Hands-on experience writing AI workflows using skills.md, LangGraph, or similar technologies.
- Extensive experience applying software engineering best practices and principles.
- Extensive experience applying software patterns and clean code principles.
